We make every attempt to make it as easy as possible for our contract holders to stay up to date on their vehicle service contract claims, including submitting support ticket updates and changing ticket status.

As an American Auto Shield customer, you can use the AAS Helpdesk support ticket system to:

  • Revise your customer support ticket at any point in time
  • Reply to a ticket you have raised to reopen it 
  • Add attachments, such as maintenance records and receipts, to a ticket during any stage of the claim process or as requested
  • Add notes or additional questions to a ticket to discuss with an AAS Helpdesk agent
  • Close a ticket when you feel your inquiry has been answered
  • Close a ticket when you feel your issue has been resolved
  • Contact us at 1-800-531-1925 at any point after the sale of your service contract or during the claims process
