SAT 7:00 am to 1:00 pm MST
If you have an automotive breakdown or failure outside normal business hours that requires immediate repair:
Protect the vehicle from further damage
- Pull your vehicle off the road to a safe area
- Shut off the engine when any of the lights/gauges indicate a problem
- Do not operate the vehicle as it could result in further damage
- Contact 1-866-222-7869 for roadside assistance, if necessary
Emergency repairs
If you have an emergency breakdown that occurs outside American Auto Shield business hours that prevents you from safely operating your vehicle and you are unable to reach us to obtain prior authorization before repairs are fully completed:
- We will provide reimbursement for covered components without prior authorization up to $500 per occurrence.
- Submit a reimbursement request online within five (5) business days.
